Hello! My name is Kaela and I started this blog to not only give me something to do while my boyfriend plays video games, but to take time and reflect on the things that are important to me.
Lately, I have been very busy with classes and my social life. I wanted to find a new hobby to allow myself some downtime and a way to de-stress. I have been on this journey to find a new hobby for about six months now. I started on Pinterst: creating many different boards on things to cook, make, and do. I took up running and hitting the gym almost everyday, I also started a bullet journal: keeping track of my progress at the gym, recording quotes I liked, and writing about the things that were bothering me. In this six month span I also took up photography and created a new Instagram account to document the different places I have been.

One of the many photos I have taken of Teddy Bear Cove in Bellingham, WA.
I really enjoyed trying all these new and different hobbies, but I still felt like I was missing something… sharing my thoughts and insights with those who would listen. In one of my Management Information Systems Classes we had to create a blog for our final group project. I was in charge of making it and fell in love with the idea of turning a blank online canvas into whatever I wanted it to be. In this case, it was a case study on PayPal, I know not the most interesting or inspirational topics to get me into blogging, but it did the trick! What’s a better way than to compile all the different things I’ve tried over the past six months and turn it into a blog.
While at first glance this blog might seem a little unorganized or random, these are the things that are important to me and I hope that those who read it will find some joy and and insight into what I enjoy doing. I would love to hear your feedback and recommendations for things to try or write on, but for now… this is what you get: Blog ‘Til you Drop!
